And so Hannah—against her will and her better judgment—finds herself pretending to be Jack’s girlfriend as a cover. Even though her ex, like a jerk, says no one will believe it.

What could possibly go wrong???
Hannah hardly believes it, herself. But the more time she spends with Jack, the more real it all starts to seem. And there lies the heartbreak. Because it’s easy for Hannah to protect Jack. But protecting her own, long-neglected heart? That’s the hardest thing she’s ever done.

This was a fun read. I so needed this after my last book. While it did deal with some weighty issues like grief, the tone was hopeful and forward looking. It made me laugh out loud. Katherine Center has an ear for dialogue and humor. There was great banter in this book between Hannah and Jack. I looked forward to picking it up and would definitely re-read.

I do love a good fake dating book, it’s a guilty pleasure.
